Hello, Let us introduce ourselves; Westcountry Persians is the combination of the two prefix's Rignolla & Persilus. Nickie Rignall in Devon and Jean Lovesy in Somerset.

We have been breeding Persians for over 25 years and have made up Champions, Grand Champions and International Grand Champions, originally in Blacks and also Whites.

Jean and Nickie have now fallen for the lovely Bi-Colours and Tri-Colours. We both enjoy showing our beautiful cats and have already made Champions and Grand Champions in these colours.

We strive to breed cats with big eyes, sweet expressions and a typical calm, gentle disposition, to achieve this we have been using the Cuba Libre, Rubyrose, Du Monet, Iwanda and Sumava's breeding lines.

Our kittens whether for Show or Pets are well socialised and used to normal household activities. We prefer not to keep our cats and kittens in pens.

We both endeavour to give new owners as much help, support and sensible advice if we can.

Both Persilus and Rignolla are PKD free catteries and continue with ongoing testing...
